These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") govern your use of the Website which we, MLC Solutions Ltd ("MakeLifeCheap"), operate from the URL www.makelifecheap.com ("Website").

Your access to and use of the Website is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting these Terms and Conditions. You should not use the Website if you do not accept these Terms and Conditions.

Membership

To open an account at MakeLifeCheap you must be a resident of the UK, over 16 years of age.

Accounts are limited to one per person. Any user found opening or controlling multiple accounts will have all accounts terminated and all their containing monies voided.

MakeLifeCheap reserves the right to refuse membership and reserve the right to terminate membership without notice at any time.

Advice

The content of the Website is purely for informational purposes and does not constitute advice, and should not be relied upon in making, or refraining from making any decision.

Moneyback & Rewards

You must be logged into your account and use the MakeLifeCheap links to accrue moneyback. When logged in you will receive moneyback as a % of your spend, or a fixed reward specific to each retailer or purchase. Some retailers do not pay commissions on the delivery cost part or VAT element of your purchase. Moneyback amounts are for guidance only and may be more or less than the amounts shown. Any transaction you make is with the retailer and not with MakeLifeCheap. Moneyback is rewarded when the retailer confirms your purchases. Depending on their returns policy this can be done instantly but can take upwards of 45 days. If a problem has occurred with a valid transaction we will chase your Moneyback where we can. If any goods are returned, then the retailer and MakeLifeCheap reserve the right to deduct the moneyback from your account immediately. Furthermore, should a retailer fail to make payment, MakeLifeCheap also reserves the right to reclaim funds from a member's account.

If any information is given fraudulently then the retailer and MakeLifeCheap have the right to deduct the money from your account immediately. We may also suspend/terminate your account and inform the relevant authorities. The process used by MakeLifeCheap and the retailers to track commission uses cookies. It is your responsibility to ensure that cookies are enabled in your browser and that there is no adware/software that may block the cookies functioning correctly. We can not be responsible if for any reasons the retailer's site fails to correctly report sales to us. However we will work on our members' behalf to ensure such situations do not occur.

Issuing of Money.

Your account is split into two sections:

Personal Transaction Balance

When a member has reached the £25 mark required on their account, they are able to redeem it. There are currently three methods of payment. They are cheque, Paypal and BACS. Before any payment can be issued we require you to add some payment details, including your preferred method of payment in the My Account section of the Website. Once you have been paid, your balance will be reset.

If you are eligible for a signup bonus of £5 this will be added to your personal transaction balance. In this case you will only need to earn an extra £20 in personal transactions before your first withdrawal from your account.

The £5 signup bonus will be automatically credited to an eligible member's account upon completion of the signup process. This bonus will only be paid once per member.

Payment can be requested by following the instructions in the My Account section of your account, once your personal account balance exceeds £25 of CONFIRMED transactions. Payment will usually be made 3-4 working days after a request but may take up to 30 days.

A pending transaction becomes confirmed between 30 - 60 days after the transaction was made, depending on the individual retailer's payment policies.

If the retailer delays payments or ceases to trade then we will do what we can to recover your moneyback. We cannot, however, be held responsible for this occurring and cannot credit your account until we have received the payment in full ourselves.

Referral Balance

When a person you refer (friend1) opens an account at MakeLifeCheap, your pending referral balance is increased by £6. For every person (friend2) that friend1 refers, your pending referral balance is increased by £3.This money will become available for payment when the referred members in question (friend1 or friend2) reach the CONFIRMED personal transaction balance of £25. This money will only be paid once for each referral.

Payment can be requested by following the instructions in the My Account section of your account. Payment will usually be made 3-4 working after a request but may take up to 30 days.

Newsletters

We send a regular newsletter to each of our members that requested it when opening the account. If, however, for any reason you would like to cancel your subscription to the free newsletter, then you need to simply follow the instructions at the bottom of the newsletter, or send an e-mail to unsubscribe@makelifecheap.com

Changes to Website

MakeLifeCheap reserves the right to:

Change or remove the Website or any part of it without notice; and change these Terms and Conditions at any time. MakeLifeCheap shall not be held liable for any such change or removal. Your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

Links to third party websites

The Website may include links to other websites that are not controlled by MakeLifeCheap. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.
